I've arrived safe and sound. I had a great flight and a nice drive from Halifax to Church Point. I'm all settled in my room now and it is very nice. Much nicer than the place I stayed in Toronto. There aren't many people here today; most will arrive tomorrow. The campus is nice but I haven't had a chance to explore it much yet. Nova Scotia is SO much like Newfoundland. It has prettier houses and less of a charming accent, but beyond that I feel like I'm home. Here's some pictures of my room. I'm on the first floor which is nice and cool. The walls have been recently painted and there's new flooring down because of a flood, so it feels like I'm in a new build.
I'm looking forward to the program starting on Monday. Tomorrow we have our placements tests. Tonight I'm either going to take a walk to the beach or go to the gym. The beach will probably win out...
